My Favourite Place in Europe – Paris

Bonjour! As it is summer time I thought that I would post blogs about travelling to different parts of the world.

I visited Paris in July 2015 and spent 2 nights there. Even though it is very busy at around that time you are always guaranteed good summertime weather.

If like me you are girly who loves shopping, Art and glamorous sights then you will love Paris! It is honestly one of my favourite cities in Europe because it is very glamorous and there is so much to do.

On the first night for dinner I got the chance to eat snails… There was a lot of garlic on them but as I love the taste of garlic so I thought they were very nice haha.

After dinner, I went on a night bus tour where I discovered how pretty Paris is at night time. I obviously needed to go out and see the eiffel tower lights sparkle at night! It was spectacular!

I spent the day exploring Paris. Here are my highlights:

  1. Angelica Cafe

I fell in love with this cafe! I loved the design as well as the delicious food. Unfortunately I didn’t sit in but I explored the place and brought some macaroons to take away.

2. Visiting Louis Vutton

The Louis Vutton shop is absolutely massive, full of gorgeous bags, clothes, shoes and sunglasses that I wish I could afford!

3. Museums

I visited the Musee d’Orsay where I saw work from artist Van Gogh. I also went inside the Louvre Museum where I saw the most famous Mona Lisa painting. Obviously had to have a typical tourist photo of myself by the Louvre.

4. The beautiful sights of Paris

Walking around Paris is so beautiful! Even if you don’t get a chance to go inside every building, seeing the outside is just as good. I saw the love bridge, Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower (which looks stunning at sunset).

5. Eating the delicious cakes

You are spoilt for choice for sweet treats! My favourites were the macaroons.

6. Picnic by the Eiffel Tower

Drinking champagne and eating by the Eiffel Tower was the perfect way to end the day.

I hope to visit Paris again! x
